We plan to store our in-shell hazelnuts in licensed warehouses. Product intake, classification, controlled storage and documented release form the basis of this model.
Intake checks, weighing, cleaning and sample analysis establish the product’s characteristics.
Products are separated by quality class and stored in silos with managed temperature, humidity and a nitrogen atmosphere.
Intake, storage and release are recorded, with packaging and loading checks at dispatch.
This storage model applies to in-shell hazelnuts. Processed products and hazelnut spread are assessed against their own storage requirements.
